The emergency device for elevator power outage, abbreviated as EPS, is also known as elevator emergency device or automatic leveling device for power outage. When the elevator in operation suddenly encounters a power supply system failure, power outage, phase loss, or fire, the device will automatically switch to work, take over all control of the elevator, output the required electrical energy, run the elevator to the level position, open the car door to allow passengers to safely exit the elevator. Using a high-performance 64 bit microprocessor and UC/OS-III operating system as the control core, combined with power devices, contactors, relays, and other peripheral control and switching systems, the control is convenient, flexible, and easy to operate, ensuring safety and reliability.

Automatic operation

During the normal operation of the elevator, if the device is in a sleep state and abnormal situations such as power outage or phase loss occur, causing the elevator to malfunction, the emergency device will automatically start and put into operation.

Intelligent recognition of elevator light load direction

The machine intelligence motherboard intelligently recognizes the direction of light load. When there are many people in the car and the weight of the car is greater than the counterweight, it runs downwards according to gravity until it reaches the level door. If there are fewer people in the car and the weight of the car is lighter than the counterweight, it runs upwards according to gravity until it reaches the level door.

Low power consumption and long lifespan

Due to the direction of intelligent recognition, the relative battery loss is reduced. A specially designed trickle charging and discharging circuit is used to charge and discharge the battery, overcoming the self discharging characteristics of secondary batteries and eliminating the need for manual charging, discharging, and other maintenance, greatly improving the battery's lifespan.

Stable operation and strong guarantee

Because the control conversion between the device and the power supply adopts static point isolation to ensure the normal operation of the elevator, signal acquisition during emergency processes, and safe operation during rescue processes, the device will not operate. In the event of a power outage, the relay will switch to the power outage emergency device, and the power will be supplied in seconds.
